About Cromer's Cookies for a Cause |
Cromer’s Cookies for a Cause is a non-profit group that raises money to help find a cure for cancer. My name is Kirin Cromer and I created Cromer’s Cookies for a Cause when I was nine years old. I met a child my age battling Leukemia and his strength and bravery compelled me to help fight for a cure. I got out the flour and began to bake, then dragged my two-foot long coloring table down to the end of my street. A sunburn and seven hours later, I had raised $50 for cancer research. Although the amount was paltry, I knew I was helping someone somewhere. In Summer 2008, Cromer’s Cookies for a Cause was born.
Since then, I have teamed up with my friends Madison Nestico, Madison Wolfbauer, and Paxtyn Ciesielski to grow the sale and maximize our donation to cancer research. Cromer’s Cookies for a Cause is now on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (@cromerscookies) and has accumulatively raised over $10,000 for cancer research! This year, we are hoping to raise $8,000 and need your support in order to achieve this goal! Together, we can save lives…One Cookie At A Time! |
